Son said remote wouldn't work and had to use the key to get into car.
My wife borrowed his car this afternoon and decided to "fix it'.
As she opened it the three pieces dropped out, the c/board, the battery and the clip holding the battery. Wifey did not have tinme to see how it was set up. lol
Two questions.
Firstly, it is a 3 volt battery and is showing 2.97 volts, is the battery dead at that level?
Secondly, the clips on the bracket holding the battery to the c/board don't hold it in place, or are they only intended to sit there?
The wifes verdict is it is the wrong battery,,,,, me,, I don't know, but I have now got to get it back together in the right order before my son arrives tomorrow LOL.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi BooBoo,
My battery is a 3 volt with 2.96 volts and it seemed weak. Spoke to battery supplier and he said battery is ok. If you find you have to get closer than normal to vehicle to open it then battery starting to go down
hill.
Cheers P&J

BooBoo,
Having a second battery in a Toyota is always difficult. Are you sure it hasn't been used to keep the Engel going rather than opening just the doors?
