Hi all. I was looking for the thread about what people carry in an emergency kit in their car.
I can only go back to 2/8/11 then they become 'Reviews" with no replies???
Can someone help me find this thread, I have tried looking for "Survival Kits" etc but cant find it.

Hi Damien - I seem to be having a problem posting a 'reply'

so here goes another attempt....

Suggest trying the 'Search' option in the spaces just above the first thread - or another possibility is the 'Topic' button along the list in Blue further up.

Cheers - Phil

Bob Cooper (www.bobcoopersurvival.com ) is a world recognised survival expert and has produced a survival kit, a DVD and book, plus other products. Have a look at what he has available in the ExploreOz Shop.

Having gone very close to treading on a Brown Snake a few years ago made me think about how I would have survived if it had bitten me; I don't think I would have. As well as many other things, I now carry elastic bandages and other items that would allow me to have a better chance of survival in case of snake bite.

I keep this kit in a small backpack which I take on hikes etc.
If you relax at a faster pace you can get more relaxation in for a given time.

In the member's File Swap area there is a section on survival tips. Maybe have a look in there for some ideas.
