Please help
I have 4 year old Nissan patrol that has done 173000 kms and all pistons in it cracked or wholes in it. i have done some research on issue and found some options. New engines on Ebay sell quite cheap but i am unsure if it is the same engine with the issue. Can anyone suggest anything.
Thanks in advance
Peter

Standard ZD30 fare, although yours being a later one it's not as common. patrol4x4.com forums should be your first port of call for options including joining the class action against Nissan.

Only because they have not run up enough Km's as yet.
More to come as time progresses.
The problems have not been fixed!!

Contact your Nissan State Office.
They have brand new Long Motors at reasonable dollars.
I have seen them advertised.
Cheers

Hi Peter, Unfortunately you are one of many that have experienced this problem, read the horror stories above on some of the other forums, such as Leroys story.
