Electric Jack for horse float

I have a 20ft horse float with the front half being caravan and the rear the horses bay. Without horses the float weighs approx 2700kg. I am looking for an electric jack that I can side mount onto the draw bar and plug into the car or float battery to assist with lifting the float on and off my car (Landcruiser). I have found a few on the internet in the US but they all require mounting in the middle of the A-frame through what seems to be an existing hole in US trailer A-frames. The heaviest load these seem to take is 3500lb which is no where near the 2700kg weight of my float. Some advice as to where to find a side mounting unit and what weight capability I should be looking for would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Shaz,
I'm not going to profess to any expertise in the product you are looking for, however,
The weight you need to lift is only likely to be somewhere between 10% and 20% of your entire trailer weight. As far as i can tell you are looking to replace the traditional job of the jockey wheel? am i right?

Hi Dan, thanks for the reply! I was hoping to put it on the other side of the draw bar to the jockey wheel so that I have the option of either. I have to wind the jockey wheel up to max height in order to get it onto the tow ball and then sometimes have to get someone to sit on the back of the car to get it on too. And whilst I am definitely not a weakling, its bloody hard work! Quite often the float is parked up for a few days in a paddock during a competition and by the time I go to re-hitch it back onto the car the wheel has sunk into the ground an inch which makes it even harder! (It gets embarassing looking for heavy people to sit on the back of the car!)
