Morning all
Has any one seen Klaus and his camels lately?
I stopped and had a good chat to him mid September
last year,He was on the Oodnadatta Track heading for Marree
then aimed to head to Birdsville.

He must be out there somewhere

Hi Norm,
with the amount of methane that camels put out, combined with the new carbon tax, I think Klaus is looking for a cheaper mode of travel.....;-)

Norm,

we passed him near Tibooburra in mid July (Aboutn July 13th to be exact). He seemed to be heading south towards Broken Hill.

Cheers Mick

We saw him at Marree late Sept last year. Looked like he was about to head up the BV Track. Must have just missed you Norm.

Hi the other Norm, we met him on theOodnadatta track about 12 months ago, we stopped to have a chat but he wasn't very talkative so we left him in peace. I think he was too wound up in the book he was reading LOL. I see in the links given that he now has another car.

Cheers

Hello Norm. I came across Klaus on my way home after doing Googs Track. He was heading north on the Copley/MtHopeless Road on the 7th June 2011. It was around 11:00am.

He was concerned the track was a little busy, he had seen three vehicles so far that day! Little did he realise there would be another 130 from the RFDS Rally passing by shortly. Would have loved to be in on the chat between Klaus and the last car through.

He is now towing a lighter (4wd?) small ute.

I have some great photos to share but not sure how to load them for you.
