Looking at a new inverter , should I purchase a lower watt pure sine wave , or a 1000 watt modified sine wave for the same money ??Venus Bay

Eric, you have not said what you want to run - obviously flood lights or microwaves, hammer drills...........

There are plenty of posts suggesting the cheaper way. You have a nice fast way of flattening your battery anyway with the bigguns. 150 would run two laptops or your chargers, small tele if you need it and your sattelite tuner if you need, one would have thought...........

Some think bigger is better though

Eric, As I intended to use my invertor for running small electronic gizmos I purchased a small 150w pure sinewave over a larger modified job. It hasn't missed a beat in over 4yrs and runs everything I require without generating all kinds of hash over the radio frequency spectrum.I may be mad but I'm not crazy
