When we travel with our little dog we like a seafront park with seafront sites in a nice location similar to Robe or Port Fairy. Can anyone reccommend caravan parks in Northern NSW or Sunshine Coast that meet these requirements for our next years winter getaway.
We like somewhere with nice places to eat, reasonable supermarket and needless to say dog friendly beaches. We quite like Rainbow Beach but its a bit off the beaten track and Split Solitary outside Coffs is convenient for day and half day trips - but Coffs its too big and busy.

We go to the South Ballina Beach Caravan PArk. it is loacted on the south side of the Richmond river, and is only approx 100 meters from the beach, or the Richmond River. Nice quiet park, allows pets, has a small shop and resturant style meals, and only 15 min drive from Ballina via the ferry. You can drive on the beach down to Evans Head (no permits required).

Goodday, Their is a place south of coffs called dunbogan. Their is a caravan park (Diamond Waters CP ) their which is dog friendly and is on a river and in bush settings, only 5 min walk to a dog friendly beach. It is 2 kls out of Laurieton which has a coles supermarket and 5 banks. But is still a small town. You will like it, plenty of fishing, bush walking etc. Cheers Andy

The Great Lakes CP in Tuncurry is a pleasant park (best outside school holidays). It is on the lake and a short drive from a dog friendly beach, ideal for long walks. The twin towns of Forster/Tuncurry are not too big and busy but have all amenities you could need. Lots of lovely country and beaches in the area for day trips. Lynne

Thanks for your suggestion but I have all the pet friendly information and I check out the Badgers reviews but we are looking for somewhere quite specific that is warmer in the winter than Adelaide and that meets the preferences stated in my original request.
For example we go to Robe Sea Vu CP every year in February after the School holidays for an extended stay. It meets all our requirements as does Robe town itself.
It is hard to find such a place "on paper" and I was hoping that out there somewhere there is a fellow caravaner who will read my original thread and say Yes - they would love ***********!!
