Recently fitted aftermarket engine mounts to my 2001 GU Patrol Td42 ute & inherited a vibration from idle to 1000 rpm, above that no problem. Replaced harmonic balancer & injectors ,& no different. At last resort fitted old mounts back in & problem solved. Appears material in mounts is too rigid.
Contaced supplier & was told he has had no other complaints of this nature.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem.
Cheers.

G'day Denis , yes your problem is with the mounts , you will need to purchase genuine engine mounts, I have my own mechanical shop and on some vehicles fitting aftermarket mounts will cause excess vibes. The trick is to know which vehicle will give you vibes with aftermarket mounts.
Cheers Mark.
