hi folks,
going to import a camper from Japan.
Due compliance a few things have to be thrown out and
I have to get new devices.
Does anybody know a cheap dealer,
online or not, that offers a range of stoves, buildin fridges
or traumatic gas heaters?
Thanks

Why don't you get a non-traumatised fridge?

What have you done on your own behalf before we offer
places you may have tried.
Is it a camper trailer or a camper van.
Would be fairly careful as after the big wet over there you may get one that has had a swim.

Why not just fit an inverter?

And/or a transformer.
A lot of the US import boats that we sell are done that way.

hi there, thanks for replies
traumatized ... haaaa, a good one !!! - iphone corrections.
Its a midsize motor home, Isuzu Elf 150 Terra, all wired for 110V
So that concerns mostly the 3 way fridge, the workshop told me they would simply disable 110V. Right, I could use an inverter close to the battery if that fridge has its own cable. But I don't like 3 way fridges anyway, they are weak and especially inefficient on battery. I would love to get a compressor fridge 12/240V.
Have and Engel Eclipse running on solar panels and a good battery for years now, perfect.
The 2 flame stove obviously doesn't comply to Aussi gas standards, and the same would be with the trumatic gas heater. I checked one of that campers two weeks ago in ATC. That workshop did compliance themselves and even they couldn't get the trumatic pass compliance, end up taking it out.
I am a bit afraid they have to take the hotwater gas heater out as
well, sits on the back of the camper, gets a lot of salty
water in when its wet ... in Japan.
It looks a bit rotten behind the lid, as far as I can tell from the photos I got.
I found Camec, simply to expensive, and than heaps of boat suppliers, which are expensive by definition.
