HI All,
Planning a trip down the Murray next year for about 4 weeks. We'll be starting up at the headwaters and heading down stream. We expect to only get about as far as the Vic/
SA border. We are wanting to free/
bush camp for most of the trip and I am looking for great spots to stop. We have a 4x4 with a 15' Supreme Getaway off road van and we are fully self sufficient for power & water. We will be travelling with a small dog so pet friendly spots would be helpful. Look forward to your suggestions.

This is a
camp spot of many north of
Kulkyne NP. that I particularly liked.
Followed the Murray from finish to start in 09 and cannot remember a bad
camp spot. Enjoy Your fabulous trip.
Mike.

Christies beach near
Echuca----Scott's Beach near Cobram----
Horseshoe Bend near Merbein-
Mildura all good and close to major towns but all short of firewood. You will need to source what you need from a little further away. Same goes for Boundary Bend another top spot. All good fishing spots.

I recently stayed near
Renmark and camped at Plushs paddock. The only convenience is a
toilet. Dogs are allowed but you will need to bring your own firewood. Follow the track around to the right and you will be able to
camp with water on both sides. Cheers and have a good time.
