Gooday Dave : my advice would be 1st of all to be aware of speeding toorak tractors throwing stones !!! May would be good before school holidays .
There's not much track about the track but a few sharp dips sneak up on you at times . The track has lots stones so it will pay to have your rear window covered & some good mud flaps to protect your van .
P.S what's your cel count !!!!
cheers nick .

Along the lines of what Nick says, cover your rear window and also get a stone stomper or similar fitted to save the van and the Yota. The track itself is pretty easy these days, few chopped up bits because of all the traffic with people doing the Lake Eyre, Coopers Crossing thing... Just take it easy and make sure you drop the pressure in the van tyres also. If its the end of May we will see you up there, just in our vehicles though as we are doing Madigans..
Cheers

Dave, we were on that stretch of the
Oodnadatta track a few weeks back and the track was pretty good. It's mainly any side tracks EG: the tracks to lake Eyre that can get a bit bumpy and cut up but nothing to worry you about really if you take it easy. The road from
William Creek to
Coober Pedy was quite excellent and were easily sitting on 80-100 K/h for long stretches...It seems as its been done up lately as there is some mining activity in the area.
Still there's a lot of weather to come between now and next May and you will need to
check again as the time draws near.
Have a great trip.
Brenton
