Hopefully so,eone can give me a simple step by step to reprogram my new VKS737 call sign and sell call into the Barrett 950. Te user manual confuses me.
If memory serves me correct you have to press the menu button for a period of time and enter a password code. I remember the access code but cant remember how to alter the call sign and slcall numbers from the old ones I hd some time ago.

Thanks in advance.

If you phone Peter James from Lara Electronics he will assist. I have found Peter to be the best HF retailer and recommend him.

Top half of page 48 of my manual has the config and save method that you need.

Lower half of page 57 in my manual has the info on Selcall ID specifically.

Re actually doing it - proceed to the point just before you would normally save the edits - punch in the new numbers - they should overwrite the old ones.
If you take too long, the config view might time out - just re boot and start again.

Once saved and exited, just go in again to see if your new numbers have become the setting.

The first ID number is for general calling - the second is recognised when radphoning. Depends on your radphone provider as to how you config the second one.
