UHF Radio Interference with Dash Cam

The coax is on the right side of the vehicle, tucked inside the door trim panels out of site; the radio receiver is at the driver's knee level on the console; the control panel is just above the Stereo unit and the DVR dash cam is located up top and just left of the rear view mirror away from the UHF and the coax.

My suspicion is that you are correct. It is a "No Name" made in China dash cam I foolishly purchased off ebay! The user's manual is in 5 different languages incl. English, and instructions are pretty straight forward on setup and operation, but no specs.

It seems that I'll just have to make do for now until I get a better quality dash cam.

After extensive research they're all about the same, with the more expensive ones including GPS tracking, front and rear video recording and other features.

The one I got - I spent $90 on it from ebay, and it's just a basic HD recorder with audio. I had to go out and purchase a Nokia Phone battery for it because the seller was too stingy to include one, The audio & video quality is pretty good, has anti-shake built in and the suction cup to the windscreen is well built.

My complaint is that the frequency radiation is interfering with the FM stereo and the UHF Radio on channel 9. Is there a way to combat the issue>
