As far as I'm aware it is closed for winter.

I live at Goobragandra, husband works at Yarrangobilly, if you mean the road connecting from the top of the Goob out to the Snowy Mt Highway ?? maybe ring the touriist info at Tumut ?? not too wet is one good thing ....
