I have 2007 Crusader XL, with ATM 1450 KG. I would like to upgrade ATM to 1650 kg. I have contacted Crusader and Brisbane RV where the van was bought, but they are not very helpfull. My tyres is already 1000 kg each, so should i go to some Engineer to get the van certified for the increase and if so can someone please put me in the right direction to what i want.

That's the only way to get it upgraded, if the maker won't do it.

Contact your local motor registration branch (RTA - Vicroads etc) and ask them to supply you with their list of authorised engineers that undertake these matters.
Cheers, ozjohn.

Get in touch with Caboolture Caravan repairs

I had a van done there a couple of years ago and very happy. They arrange for an engineer's certificate and all the issues needed.

Thanks for the advise to see Adrian at Caboolture Caravan Repair.
It turned out to be the best advise, and he has already changed my ATM.
I can only say " don't risk driving overweight and get caught"
put your van on a weighbridge and if overweight go and see Adrian.
The price charged is also very acceptable.
