Attention Trakshak owners.
Can one of you do me a favour and head outside and measure the length of the stone guard poles.
I have lost
mine and am making new ones.
I have bought the square shaped poles.
I now need to know the length to cut them and where the bend is.
I need to know the following
- total length.
- length up to the bend.
- length from bend to the end.
- the angle of the bend.
A photo might help me if you have the time.
Cheers and Thanks.

1010mm long 45 degrees (approx) first bend radius @ 740mm
give or take 100mm :-)
Hope it helps
Cheers Michael

Michael.
I am actually thinking of ditching the standard ones
My project this year
To do a streamlined one, or should I say, try and do a streamlined one, so the "Trakkie" can slip thru the air easily, and save fuel.
ie.........I want to clip in a pole down each front side, and use the existing stone guard pole holes, to hold in place
...........From there I will run a pole up to the boat rack, and use "R" pins to attach to the camper.
...........I hope to then run the mesh, (not shadecloth) to follow the drawbar to a square section approx 300-500 high and square, just behind the coupling area
Wish me luck.
Cheers
Bucky
