I tried to get the Vimeo clip of the opening scenes imbedded but it has a block on it, so try this link .
Opening scene from the 'Shady Lady' film the clip is halfway dow the webpage.

Not related to this thread but I know you're a very knowledgeable bloke so I thought I'd ask.
Remember a few years back there was a family travelling across the Nullarbor at night when apparently their car was picked up by a UFO and dropped. It blew their tyres out and apparently contaminated their paint work with some "cosmic ash".
Rumours at the time were that a RAAF plane shut off all their lights, swooped the car and blasted them with their landing lights at the last minute. The jet/prop wash resulted in turbulence that may have caused the car to feel as though it had become weightless. And exhaust emissions left carbon residue on the car. Just speculation.
Anyway...never really found out the end to that story. I remember it being on the news and all. Probably over 20 years ago now.
Just a long shot...but do you know how it ended?

Try this for the "facts". No rumours or conclusions though. My thoughts at the time were they (driver) while hallucinating, nodded off & soft rolled the car. It was the best I could come up with...lol
