The call went out from the 380th Bomb Group Association to members for anyone that had information or photo’s of the event,as i'm a guest member I also recieved an email asking for info, I had some I received a few months ago that were different to the ones I seen on their website so I sent the 9 photo’s I had.
Below is a reply email I received from Susan Michaelis of Fact Not Fiction Films,
( thank you so much for these. We are currently in Boston filming at the
moment on the actual B24 “Witchcraft” with the Collings Foundation. This footage will
match up with what we shot out on the Anjo Peninsular from the helicopter
3 weeks back.
We have seen some of the old photos & footage, but as in Boston right now,
cannot say if we have seen these or not. As such we really appreciate you
sending us these.
This is such a remarkable story & we had known about it in a vague way for
20 years, but not the specifics & suspect a few others did also with few
having the whole awareness of what happened. as such it is incredible
piecing it all together with the help of a number of great people.
Are you by chance involved in aviation as we know your name we think? What
was your interest in the Shady lady story? We passed through
Adelaide
River when in the NT back in August.
Have you seen the opening sequence we put on our website, shot out on the
Anjo peninsular?
