The Ranger is on the show room floors in WA, we are here for a short holiday, was driving past a Ford Dealer in Busselton when I spotted one. Told my mate to do a u turn so I could check it out, and yes from a quick look I am pretty impressed. This one had the silly tow bar that Terry was showing us on his videos (see he is doing very well in the Ranger Gobal Challenge 48%)
I am not sure how people will take to the price though, tad over $60K for the XLT auto....so I may have to buy an XL Super Cab at around $48K hahahaha

Hi Bre

Yep votng is going well with only 5 days to go now!!!! Hope I get enough votes to keep me in front until the end.

I have heard a few people doing deals drive away closer to the 50k than 60k mark. With the hilux update and price drop I bet Ford are wishing they left their pricing closer to the old spec!!! Keep negotiating I reckon.

First Review here

Their opinion is it is "without fail the best ute available on the market". Big call but after having used one for two weeks and putting it through some tough offroad areas towing I was mighty impressed!

Wow just read that review, a glowing appraisal that's for sure.

The SUV/wagon version Ford Australia is working on should be a cracker if this is anything to go by. Hopefully it will be available here...

Can anyone explain how Ford can justify the centre rear seat being equiped with a Lap Only seat belt. Lap Sash is not an option. So it's really a 4 seater, if safety is important to you.

Where did you find that...is it in the brochure somewhere???? The vehicle I had was all lap sash....and safety was the major push they were on about. Terry
