Anyone know of a good refrigeration place that repairs engel's in SE
Melbourne?
I have acquired an old 39L and it doesn't cool, when I turn it on the fan runs and I am pretty sure the compressor is running (pretty quiet though) but it does not cool at all.

Coza,
do a search on the
forum here as there have been many issues with Engels that are similar to your problem. My 40ltr has done the same. I let it sit upside down (unplugged) for a day or two and then turned it on. Also turned it over for a minute or two while going and it seemed to clear what ever blockage was causing the lack of cooling.
On face value, this seems to be a fairly common problem so try that before heading to the repair place.
Cheers Mick

Call Engel service 1300 302 653 and they will recomend a service agent near you.
Worked
well for me at
Katherine. Try Mick's trick also.
Cheers
John

G'day coza,
I had
mine repaired at Eastern Homewares, Heathmont and bought a new 12 v lead off them. 5 years ago.
Cheers,
Bill
