Julio,

Bucasia and Armstrong beach will also be ok for you.

Armstrong beach is a little way from Mackay though, guessing about 50k south down from Sarina and Bucasia not far from blacks beach.

Have a good holiday.

Family gathering at Seaforth Caravan Park in July. 2 vans and a tent. Great place but not much to do apart from walk on the beach and fish in the creek. Facilities were spotless. Prime beach spots are usually booked well ahead

I certainly wouldn't recommend Bucasisa or Armstrong's beach in summer I don't know about Blacks Beach.

Cape Hillsbough. About 1 hour north. Not much there in the way of services, but enough!!!

This spot is awesome.. Great walks, amazing butterflies and great beach.. Kangaroos on the sand morning and night!!!

A great secret, until now!!

I would recommend Seaforth, we spent part of the last three winters there including 10 weeks this year. Great boat launch in Vincent creek, and excellent fishing in the creek if you have a tinnie. Cast net for live herring off the launch. Good bank fishing in Seaforth creek, just past and behind the mechanics shed as you go towards the mouth. Pump yabbies on the bayside opposite.
