Hi,
I have been experiencing the webpages freezing on me.
It started out only doing it when viewing a Thread but now it will do it while I am strolling through the entries.
Is it just me?
I am trying to hold my mouth crooked and then straight but it doesn't make a difference!
Bill

Have been having problems occasionally over the past 3 weeks or so when trying to open a new page within EO. It will be going along OK then suddenly lock up - happens with both Google Chrome and Firefox. No other sites seem to have had any difficulties.
Cheers,
Val

You could try emptying the Browsing Cache.
"Tools"
"Options"
"Advanced"
"Network"
Empty the cache, it may take a while so don't think that it's hung up.

I have added Ghostery and Adblock plus to my firefox (free downloads)
may not help the freezing but removes to popups and spy cookies.

I dont use windows opsys and no matter what browser that I use the freezing is occuring within EO only. this could b due to the fact that the sys admi person is away at the moment and housekeeping is not up to scratch.

I have had this problem over the past few days. I have just upgraded to Telstra G4. All is fine until I click on the thread button. sit still and make a cup of coffee.
Everything works
well and a lot faster on Google pages and Hotmail. May be heavy traffic due to school hol's.

If you use Firefox then download the Add-on called Lazeruth (sp). If you lose a message you have typed prior to uploading then you can recover it.
It is essential on this
forum as with so many ads & pop-ups it gets to be very resource hungry and unstable.
Adblock is your friend.

This site so often runs like a Landrover. Just when you think it's fixed it drops back into limp
home mode :-))
All my other 4x4 sites simply just work day after day like Toyota's.
