Hullo thekettles
Many years ago, I had dreadful hayfever - I just had the think about mowing the grass and I would start sneezing and running nose. And of course, the more I did this, the more sensitive my nose became as the threshold decreased. BTW, I live in SA, the capital of hayfever! :-)
So I started taking horseradish tablets
well before the season commenced - 2 in the morning, 2 at lunch and 2 at dinner - with meals. Did this until
well after the season finished. It didn't stop it the first year, just lessened it. The next year I did the same and the year after just 2 in the morning and 2 at night. Year after 1 in the morning and 1 at night as symptions were getting much less. Did this one more year and after that, have not needed to any as hayfever all gone - YES!!
Even though it is not an instant cure, IMHO it is very worth while trying
Cheers
Andrew

I used to suffer this every year, but about 10 years ago my doctor got me some pills which prevent
hay fever from occurring. You are meant to take them forever, but i only took them for a month and have not had
hay fever since. Much better (and cheaper) than my previous cure of Demozin and bourbon.

Hi thekettles
Same deal, tried every pill, potion, lotion, inhaler known to man (and woman) kind. An acquaintance said try acupuncture..........I said "your kidding!!! aren't you???? how the hell is having someone sticking pins into me going to help with hayfever"
Well desperation finally got the better of me so I gave it a go. First year about 30% improvement. Second year better again. After about four years of having acupuncture three times in a week at the start of each hayfever season no more hayfever. That was about twenty years ago and I have never had the dreaded symptoms since. No idea why but it worked for me.
Cheers
Pop

I used to get it real bad, would put me in bed for days. Tried every tablet and drug on the market. Had injections, did the lot and nothing work. My wifes aunty is in to natural stuff and kept bugging me about how good these tablets she had were.
Well, the only way to stop the nagging (geez I hope she ain't reading this) was to take the tablets.
Well, bugger me, they worked. At the first
sign I take a couple of tablets and it's all clear. They are tissue salts-hayfever. They work a treat for me. They weren't so good for my bro-inlaw, apparently depends on your matabolism. Worth a try though. Most health shops have them. I can now roll in the
hay without even a sniffle.

I had it bad when I was a kid. Every harvest season. Eyes / nose running sneezing coughing ect ect. There was one grass the farmers called it Love Grass, I have no idea why?? and I dont know its real name. But if I got within 100yds of this stuff I suffered like you would not believe.
I actually grew out of it at the age of about 14. Never had it since.
My daughter suffers from more of an allergy then actual
hay fever, Cats, horses ect. Would you believe she is a VET NURSE . :-) :-) lmao

My husband had appalling hayfever for many years - snorting, snuffling, dribbling, red nose, snot, really gross stuff - almost grounds for divorce, I thought. We told our then chiropractor, maybe 8 to 10 years ago, who adjusted the plates in the roof of his (husband's) mouth and he's barely had hayfever since - just the occasional sniffle at the start of Spring. Saving us a fortune on tissues! Good luck all.
