I got mine insured last year with OAMPS insurance - Ballarat. Give them a call. It's not cheap but I covered the quad (700cc Diesel) and the trailer. They were the only people who would touch it. Even TCIS brokers couldn't help.

Cheers Mick

Probably is a large potential market out there, Andy, but when you consider that accident/fatality rates for quads has overtaken the incidents for 2-wheel drive fergie type tractors, it's no wonder they shy off them.

Quads are very versatile, and quite safe, as long as they are ridden in an active sense, and the rider knows their limitations. Notice there is some debate at the moment, on the fitting of ROPS to quads.

Gday
If ROPS were fitted, you would have to wear a seat belt.

Think that's one of the issues, Muz. Fitting a ROPS adds another set of "problems", according to the anti-ROPS brigade.

Wesfarmers etc will do it but it must be chained to an "immovable point" when not in use and other PITA little rules that made it not worthwhile for me.
