I did it in my Prado; great in the city, runs beautifully, but could become an issue out in the bush; then again a few Jerry cans could overcome that....

LPG has benefits for any large car with a large engine, for city driving, out in the bush the benefits are reduced because of the higher cost and the fact that LPG is not available everywhere.

Purely in terms of engine longevity and your running costs in the city its worth it. And when you go bush you can still use petrol if you want...

Thanx Guys . Anyone know a good installer on Northside Brisbane? Looking at putting in the side tanks so as I can keep 2 standard fuel tanks and increase my range.

hi zappa

we have converted a 2005 update 100 series land cruiser with the 4.7 litre engine and 5 speed auto, this is fitted vapour injection system with a 100 litre tank with about 90 litres usable amount of gas costing approximately $54.00 to fill and giving us around 400km to 450km per fill mixed driving. we have had no issues with the system installed at all, and would highly recommend you having you're vehicle fitted with this system.hope this helps with you're decision. kind regards pickles.
