Hi Stan. I'm guessing you mean Turpentine Rd to Tomerong/Braidwood Rd to Nowra. Both roads are suitable although there are ongoing roadworks along the way. May pay to check the RTA site when it is near to your journey. Cheers,Bob

Stan I travel that quite regulary, the road is fine. Nowra to Nerriga is fine all bitumen, if you go to Jervis Bay via Turpentine rd to Tomerong, there is 12 k of dirt , but Mark Webber could very easily run his Formula one over.
I know there is some dirt between Nerriga & Braidwood that can get potholed sometimes, but we take our van over it and it's not a true offroader, and its usually fine if you take it steady.

Guys I do this run at least once a week. I live in Queanbeyan and often work in Nowra. If you go through Tarago to Nerriga it is bitumen for all but 2.6km. If you go from Braidwood to Nerriga it is about 30km of sometimes heavily corrugated gravel. Hopefully this Google Maps link will work.

forgot to say......it is good for caravans as all the tight and narrow sections from Nerriga to Nowra have been removed or realigned during the building of the new road.
