Waeco CF80

Hi all

I have a chance to buy a near new Waeco CF80 (80 litre) fridge quite cheap from a friend who has no use for it any more. I would be keen to hear any feedback on this fridge please.

Cheers Jason

Hi Jason

Ive had one for a few years and have never had any problems. They are quite big and a little on the heavy side if your lifting it in and out of a car/4b. Other than that they are quiet and do the job well. mine came with an insulated cover hopefully your mate got one too. I think i paid around 1300 but that was for the fridge, cover and a 100lt molded plastic esky.

Hope this helps

regards phil

Hi Jason, got the cf60. Bought it from Waeco seconds in Brisbane . Had it for 9 months now and even bounced it around a bit on the tanami . Enough capacity to keep 3 adults fed for a week . Good enough that i got a 50 litre with a magazine renewal so next big trip one for fridge , one for freezer . cheers wayne

Hi Jason

We have the CF80. Original one with push-button and LED lights.
Been going strong for 10 years. Note the Latches don't last too long, and I always have a spare handy. Four screws and it's replaced, but without it the lid does not close properly and condensation freezes.
The new ones run on 12, 24 or 240V.Mine still only 12/24V
Cheers,
CJ
