I have an Aliner which has Alko
suspension.
The first night from brand new I wiped off the rubber feet from the rear stability jacks and that was inside a caravan park!
It's way too low and I am wondering if it's possible to adjust the height on these Alko suspensions?
Thanks
Geoff

From memory the Aliner has a overlay beam axle.
Your alternatives are to have a straight axle fitted or a
suspension riser welded to the chassis.
If going for the straight axle option oreder the replacement axle with a Camber Bend otherwise it'll be supplied dead straight which will result in increased tyre wear. This option wil raise the van around 45 - 48mm. For a short Aliner you'd certainly notice the difference.
A standard Chassis riser is 50mm.
Higher risers can be fitted as can a Spring over axle converion which will raise the van around 100mm, but that presents problems with the coupling then being illegally high.
Speak with your local van service man for the option that best suits you, but I've found over the years that a rise of 50mm (2") suites most vans very
well especially the shorter ones like an Aliner.
Cheers, ozjohn.

My Avan has a Alko independent rubber
suspension also, I am looking at ways of raising it to take the same 17" wheels as the tug.

How much higher would you need to go to fit the 17s? The wheels themselves should raise it an inch or 2 compared with the std 185r14s.
My tug also has 17 mags, not easy to source them 2nd hand, although i did manage to get one from mr mags.

I have a NT Pajero and often see people who have fitted different mags wanting to sell the OEM wheels.
I will have to find out if the axle size and bearing to take the extra leverage.
