Yep! - used to live over that way and have camped there on and off forever. The local council has been busy doing work over the years so it is now quite formalised with log fences etc. There are 2 x long drops (usually don't stink) but no fresh
water at all. Can get very crowded on holiday weekends. Can also get VERY windy with 40 knot plus winds, so be prepared!
The beach varies from covered in seaweed to pristine white, depending on recent storm activity. There is a natural stone
boat ramp on the way in.
The beach is great for kids on a nice day with a gently sloping sandy bottom. Just be aware that the wind is often offshore and can catch people using floaty things unawares. The council will also come around and ask for
camping fees - not sure how much but reasonable.
Cheers

I don't fish and have never seen a fish caught off
the beach - could be I just haven't noticed!! Most fishy people down there get out in a boat. Reckon you could jag a squid or two off the rocks in the corner.
Cheers
