I'm wondering whether anyone has found a good way to store leads (in a van) from cameras, GPSs, phones, etc in such a way that you can get to the one you want without having to go through them and untangle them all. Would be interested in your ideas.
Many thanks

G'day Yooralani. I keep all those things neatly stored in a zip up
toilet bag. You know the ones. Like you get every Fathers day with after shave and stuff !! I also have a USB stick in there with a lot of info on it,eg addresses, phone nos. personal info etc. Even
recipes and some
bright ideas that I forget easily. Cheers.

Hi yooralani : If you go to a fishing tackle
shop you can get small bags with separate plastic envelops in side , they might do the job for smaller leads & for the larger one's zipp lock bags !!!
cheers nick

Hi Yooralani, I made a simple wooden box in which I put all my necessary chargers connected to 2 power boards. There is one lead coming out of the box which plugs into a power point and the leads from each charger protrude a short way outside the box ready to be plugged into the correct appliance
No copyright..lol...feel free to copy.
Cheers Neil

Then wrap them up small & put a rubber band around them.

Have a good look at your leads. Make sure you are not doubling up. For example, I have three cameras. All take the same type of lead. My GPS also uses the same lead. Four units, one lead.
If you have two phones the same, share a charger.
Any extras you have could be put away for emergencies, in a place you don't need to go to often.

Hi Yooralani,
At home I use the 32mm foldback clips (many sizes available and they are cheap and can be bought from any stationery retailer). These are clipped on along the edge of a panel and a different lead hangs through each one. One end remains plugged in to supply and the other end is available for use as required. This keeps them separated and easily identifiable. Works just fine for me. As SDG suggested, make sure you're not doubling up on some of them.

Small zip lock bags. cheap as chips from
supermarket. one lead per bag with label stuck to outside so you know what it fits..
They can be packed easily, thrown in packs and bags or dumped in drawers and they can't get tangled with each other. They don't usually tangle up themselves in the bag either.
This is after taking others advice here about sorting out what is interchangeable.
