you could do a lot worse, given the heat at that time of the year than give yourselves a couple of days at
Mexican Hat beach,south west of
Ceduna it's isolated but easy to get to

Fraeser sheep farm about 100Ks past
Norseman was a good stopover but dont know if you can stay there without a van/tent , DONT stay at the Nullabor Roadhouse, you might change your opinion about Oz all together LOL , when you get to
Adelaide try the markets there, and the city has some good old buildings, but if you have a GPS USE it , most confusing place I've been since London...........

Forgot to say, brace yourself for some stupid fuel prices on the nullabor, dont know if you have a big
tank but if you do then fill up at Norsman and try to cross the Nullabor on it , when you cross it you'll find the fuel prices drop drastically again .............

Adelaide difficult to navigate? Are you serious? All the roads run North/South or East/West with the exception of four main artierial roads that run at a 45 degree angle out of the CBD.
Eg: Port Road, Anzac Highway, North East Road and the South Eastern Freeway.
You want confussing? Try
Canberra.

I reckon if one needs a GPS in
Adelaide City they shouldn't be allowed outside alone.
It has to be the best laid out city in the world bar none!
I went to find an address in
Brisbane once, got into the (one way) street ok but the number I wanted was behind me. Simple thinks I (having been raised in
Adelaide) I'll just go round the block & enter the street further down........ha ha, took me an hour to find my street again.
This was WAAAAY before GPS was thought of.
Cheers Neil
