G'Day, about this time last year there was a big landslide that closed King Billy Track between Lovicks Hut and
Howitt Hut near the Macalister River (alomost at the bottom of the valley) wich unfortunatly is one of only a few
places to get between the East/W sides of
VIC High Country...
Can anyone tell me if the landslide and huge trees that it brought down with it have been removed and/or if the gates on Howitt Rd to the W of
Howitt Hut are open?
Any advice on any other major track closures in the High Country would be appreciated too. Ta Muchly
