Links to useful camping websitesHi Ryan
Gary Stratton's Caravan
Park site has pet friendly caravan parks, but i don;t think it extends to State Parks and
bush camps.
OzCamps has free and low cost campsites, and states pet friendly when noted by the contributor.
Links for these and other listings here:

I am listing free and low cost camps for NSW, including in state forests which allow pets, but the list is far from complete.

Ryan,
If you could say what you are driving & towing , It might give people an idea what size rig got. A big rig could be a caravan or fifth wheeler.

Hi we bought "
bush camping with dogs" I think it is available in the store on this site but we found it in a
camping store. We have found loads of good bush
camp sites that weren't in camps 6 but the book is a little harder to navigate.

If you are (or become) a member of the CMCA you could do a search of GeoWiki.
http://www.cmca.net.au/pages/index.php
Pets and big rigs are searchable features.
