Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have any advice regarding
camping at Jacobs
Well Qld.
Bush camping would be good, but I suspect it will be a little more formal than that (ie CP). Any advice would be really welcome
Regards
Paul

It's a built up area. Only choice would be the caravan
park.

Hi Paul,
There is a caravan
park, not too far from the
water.
I haven't stayed there myself, but I would suggest a large supply of mosquito repellent will be essential.

and the pub has been taken over by a proprietor who won the Best Pub Food Award in
Melbourne at the Metropolitan Hotel, North
Melbourne a few years ago. Great food in the restaurant attached to the pub. Very good boat launching facilities as
well next to the caravan
park.

Why would you want to stay at Jacobs
Well. It belongs to
Gold Coast CityCouncil and cost the same as Tallebuddera or Broadwater.Plenty of sandflies too but that does not cost extra.

There no
Bush Camping around so the Caravan
park is your only choice ... and yes, mossies and midgies are bad.
