Driving car and sudden stop as if key was turned off.
Been told it could be the fuel shut off solenoid, but when connected to power can hear it click in but still won't start.
Removed injector line, no fuel.
Primed it manually, fuel comes out in all the right
places but not out the injector line.
Any fixes or idea's, anything else I should check?
Thank's in advance.

Yep, pulled the cover up and can see the pulley removing but not 100% sure if the injector pump is as cant see the injector drive.

I would be looking at the solenoid again , if your getting fuel to the pump thats all there is to stop it from reaching the injector ? good luck Ron

Yep, still concerned about the solenoid as when connected up to the power the relay was making a 'stuck on' noise.

Remove the solenoid and take the guts out of it ( Plunger). That will make it supply fuel all the time. You will only be able to stop the engine by stalling it in gear.
I had this problem with my old Rodeo it just stopped on the side of the road so I removed the internals of the solenoid and away ewe went. You can get aftermarket solenoid from diesel specialist for around $50. GMH dont sell it separately they wanted to sell me a complete pump.

Just
check the engine compartment fuse box.
If it is similar to the 2006 model there are two relays, called a starter cut, the other is the heater. these are the same . If yes swap the two over and try starting.
If successful buy a new relay.
But be warned don't buy genuine
GMH over $200
Narva from Supercheap approx. $17.00
I was caught out in a similar way but only after I had switched off and tried to start.
Hope it works
Ian

Thanks for the advice, these forums are great.
It was the stop solenoid and yep you can pull the plunger out and it'll work, ensuring you pull the right one.
