i pulled the coleman hwod out after about 12 months and as i knew the battery is dead and wont take charge.
i went to the coleman site to find a local dealer army disposals to price a new one.he said they were having trouble getting some so try jaycar.
he said they(army disposals)sell them for around $40 i thought fair enough.
i sent the wife to jaycar to get one $14.95.how cheap is that

you didnt get much out of that (12 months) I think mines been in around 4 years and still doing great....
Thanks for the info i know where to get a replacement when i need one..
