Hi Has anyone travelled from Armadle to Narrabri via
Uralla,
Kingston, Barraba, and
Mount Kaputar (
Mount Dowe) I understand that you need to pick up a key to access the
Mount Kaputar section. I was planning on doing this over Christmas, and any information would be welcome.

I travelled from Narrabri to Mt Kaputar yesterday, can't comment on other approaches, no key needed for the road from Narrabri, 20 klms of winding road to summit.Fantastic view,1510mts above sea level.

Thanks for the good news on the view, but I am interested in travelling from Barraba through Mt Kaputar to Narrabri. I understand part of that link is gated just east of Mt Kaputar.
Thanks

You need to talk to National Parks, they have the key
Someone who has done it told me 2mm of rain and they won't grant you access.
Call the Narrabri office
