G'Day all,
About to take off on a week long adventure from
Adelaide, through the
Grampians, down to
Torquay and then home along the Great Ocean Road and the Coorong.
There will be 4 of us in total, all on 1WD's. Call it a mid life crisis if you wish, but at 39 and a motorcycle rider, statistics show I'm probably
well past mid life.
Anyway, if any of you lovely folk are out that way in the next week and come across 4 blokes on Harleys Exploring Oz, don't be affraid to make yourselves known.
Judge us not by our chosen mode of transport. At the end of the day, we're all out there travelling and having fun. (Although about 500kms into it, I'm sure my back side will have a different take on the idea of FUN).

Just be extra careful on the Great Ocean Road as there are numerous reducing radius corners. There are lots of signs for motorcycles to slow down usually before the worst ones , but many blokes come to grief there.
I once took a BMW launch ride of Australia's major motorcycle journalists along there and quite a few ended up on the wrong side of the road on some corner exits.

well wishes and advice.
We certainly won't be setting any new land speed records and the weather is looking favourable so hopefully it will be an uneventful trip.
Trip report when I return? For sure. Hopefully with a few good pics.
Wild Hogs? Haha...more like Mild Hogs.
