You're one in a million Russell .. but it's probably because you don't go off road. I had a Pajero some time ago and considering what it is it was really quite a good road vehicle. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I did mine. Mine was a bit heavy on fuel and compared to current vehicles a bit sluggish.

Very witty Russel, l like someone who has a good sense of humour, by the way, l believe you can purchase that spray on mud from your local Mitsubishi dealer (now that should get a bite)
keep laughin.....Stuart

Just keep an ear on your gearbox Russ. My first sign was jumping out of 1st on steep descents, then problems with 3rd and 5th leading to complete failure. The front suspension and brakes also gave me grief. Good luck to you while it's going though!

Having written that reply it's just dawned on me that you most likely don't even own one and are just bored. I bet you teased all the kids at school when you were a kid! Got many friends Russell? Mmmm ....

If you catch previous post your would see I've just bought a 1999 NL Auto, so no jumping out of gears, got screwed by Mitsubishi dealer (so won't be buying spray on mud from them), have been off bitumen with previous 4wd Terrano on Kangaroo Island, but intend to tow caravan (Terrano failed miserably despite assurances fron Van Salesman).

And no I didn't pick on kids at school (I was the class weakling), no don't have lotsa friends, but I have a few good ones.

And I am a proper barstard.

As previously stated I am incapable of telling the truth (Asimov I think).

Hey Martin
My Pajero is starting to show signs of a similar problem, except mine appears to stay in first gear just no rev the engine on steep decents. Its a V6 3L auto and has done around 230 000 k's. Could you possibly point me a direction of how i could fix this problem.

Its people like YOU that set a bad reputation for others. I own a pajero and think there a great four wheel drive, sure i might be a little bais towards them but have respect for people who own different fourbies, and im not about to go out there and start giving them a hard time just becasue they didn't buy a pajero. Yourbleeped up sense of Humor creates a bad image for all other pajero drivers, so my suggestion for you is to go back into your corner, and jerk off or do whatever it is you sad low life, patheticbleeps do.

Hey Russell [Pajero]
Good for you if you ain't got any problems!!!!! You might as well enjoy it while you can!!!!! When the Paj starts playing up, you'll have planty of time to whinge then!! LOL..... just kidding.... I have to agree about Mitubishi service comments though... I bought my SWB Express work van new... boy did they see me coming!!! Those guys in "New Cars" must have been rubbing their hands together when I walked in the showroom!!! and service???? I paid $160 for a service last week and I am convinced they "might" have changed the oil. The car was running like a bag of s#*t before the service and still is! I am not worrying too much right now about it, too busy but will be setting them up for a fall next service I tell ya!!!! (a few witness marks here and there and some nice photo's make a difference!!)

Cheers
Brian
