I would be more concerned with the water getting into everything.

Waterproof? In a pigs eye!

Only designed for fresh water obviously but those bearings will be suspect after each immersion. Lots of work there repacking each time, not to mention the wiring. etc etc.

Just a good idea but not practical.

I think might be better off towing a decent trailer boat that's got a few mod cons in it, that would double as a caravan. I wonder if anyone is actually doing that?
