hi all,
we have just spent 5 weeks travelling around your wonderfull state. There so many great
places that we have seen and it would be too hard to mention them all. Maree,
Lyndhurst,
Leigh Creek,the
Clare Valley, Victor Harbour and surrounds.
Our favourite area overall would have to be
Clare and surrounding towns.spent a week in
Clare looking at all the attractions,
ruins, and the vineyards. We met some woderful people, drank some really good wines and had a great time.
Once again you South Aussies, thanks for sharing your treasures.
Look out.......we will be back.
cheers,
Geoff and Robyne.

Hi Geoff and Robyne
Good to hear that you had a great time here in SA and especially good that you enjoyed the
Clare Valley -
Clare being
my home town.
All the Best
Cheers

Shhhhh - SA is the most underrated state in tourism promotions; don't tell everyone or it will become overrun with tourists. The Eyre Peninsular a worth a whole holiday on its own.

Clare Valley long ago)

Hi Motherhen
The most underrated destination here in South Australia, even from a local point of view is
Kangaroo Island. We have recently returned again from another fantastic 2 weeks over there. It would have to rate as the most friendly location in Australia and the locals go out of there way to make tourists fee like locals, and where the good old finger wave as you pass another vehicle is the norm.
Cheers
Stephen

no secret about the
yorke
luckily thats about as far as people from
Adelaide can drive
i used to spend every bit of spare time i had at my old haunts on west coast of the Eyre Penninsula
ill never forget coming back from a relitivly uncrowded
easter of fishing and enjoying the light traffick ................ until I hit the turnoff to the
yorke
then it was bumper to bumper traffick jam all the way to
Adelaide
