Help Nissanites!
I am going to an auction this wednesday to bid on a 2002 st 4.2td cab chassis which is in excellent condition.
Could anyone supply me with some rough fuel consumption figures?
Tray not wagon.
Thanks Rowler

my 1999 4.2 td gets around 7.9 km to the lt unloded , a mate is getting 6.8 km to th lt fully loaded, have a look at the rear spring hanger tops and make sure that they are sitting flat and have not bent up , if so this can be fixed but to have a support rail fitted will cost you about $500This is not my car anymore

Here, here, on your comment on the spring hangers Peter. Just had
mine plated side to side with 12mm after the dealer repair, using the standard bolt holes. I hope the cost may not have been so expensive but did mean the tray had to come off. About three hours total I think.
javascript:WindowPreview('/Members/ViewRig.asp?RigKey=27434.875',700,500) hope this worked

I have almost finished doing
mine up , I have gone for a fiberglass canopy for rear storage it is light approx 90kg ,and cost less than $3500 including fitting ,linnig etc.I had been looking at metal box type storage for the back but the cheapest was around $7000 plus they came in at over 350kg , This is not my car anymore

Hi rowley, i bought my gu DX trayback from
newcastle auctions for $32,000 with no b/bar or accessories. it had 59k on the clock, was from lismore rta. Been a great truck so far, asked a mate at nissan to check out if any warranty probs, all ok no claims, good truck now ive added all the bits.
I havent done a fuel consumption check yet.
