It's possible to tow a camper via that route but would ultimately depend on the camper, the tow vehicle, the tyres, the drivers experience in steep terrain, the river depth & of course the weather. Difficult sections can be Zeka spur, the Wonnangatta river, Wombat spur, Caledonia river & obviously no one tows up Blue Rag normally leaving them on the Dargo rd.
The High Country is not a good place for people not familiar with the area to tow as when the weather turns bad you need to know which alternate tracks are safe to use & is why I recommend base camping.
