G'day Folks.
has any of you taken a Suzuki Jimny through the Simpson or up the CSR?

Someone asked me to find out for him.
I know about it's small fuel tank and low ground clearance but he thinks that he can overcome those limitations.
Thanks for your input,
Mike

Not a Jimny but a Sierra JX 1.3....did a Simspon Cross country. Go to my website www.kempen.id.au. click on 4x4 and then click on Spinifex Trail. Don't know about the Canning...would have to carry too much fuel but I do believe it has been done. A German couple drove the Canning is a Suzuki Sierra 1lt some years ago. They took very little food and just carried fuel. Not my idea of a holiday..But to each his own.............
Cheers,
Willem

Jimny should be fine. I took a lada niva up the canning a few years back
18 days, 390 L fuel (Carried 220L max at any one time) 2200 km, greatest trip!
Cheers,
Alex.
