Does anyone have suggestions for 3 or 4 locations , with non powered sites, on the peninsula. We are fully self sufficient, with off road camper and vehicle. We would spend maybe 2 or 3 nights at each spot. Thanks in advance for any ideas

Have stayed at Middle
Lagoon a few years ago - it was a good spot then. Others may have more up-to-date info.
Cheers,
Val.

Greetings D&G
Spent a night at Middle
Lagoon in August - nice spot. Then spent 3 nights and days at Gumbarran - near One arm Point. Intended staying 1 night and stayed 3. Fantastic bay with huge tidal movements - good fishing and swimming - very clean facilities. Close to One Arm Point,
Cape Leveque, Kooljamin and
Cygnet Bay Pearl farm. We are self sufficient and had a great stay. If you get a chance, go on a mud crab tour - we went with Eddie James - see pamphlet at
Cape Leveque - great couple of hours.

We stayed at
Quondong Beach in mid October 2011there are a number of
camp sites but NO facilities but great spot. Also stayed some yeas ago at Middle
Lagoon which we loved. However on that trip we found
Cape Leveque too commercial for us, the
camping area was a bit like a shopping centre car
park too many people. Enjoy your visit very much worthwhile
