Hi all,
About three weeks ago I posted a thread to do with difficulties I was having finding a service agent in WA for a Cloleman HWOD unit.
In a nutshell after many phone calls and frustrating dead ends I found the service agent, with the great help from the Rays store in Kelmscott.
The service agent took the unit had it fixed the following day, charged me $90 and that was the end of it, except when I got the unit home it didn't work, so back to the service agent, who apologized and kept the unit for three weeks before sending me a text say the repair bill was $455, did I want to proceed, obviously the answer was no.
I eventually contacted the Coleman rep in WA who told me the unit had a three year warranty, and I should take it to Rays Cannington and they would replace it as it was still under warranty.
Fronted the service agent to reclaim the unit, and guess what they wanted $88 service fee before they would release the goods. After a full 15 rounder with the management of the service agent, I got my unit back, went to Rays and thery changed it over in 5 mins flat.
I have nothing but praise for Coleman who stood by their product, and Rays both Kelmscott and Cannington, whose customer service was excellent.
Dont get me started on there service agent in WA, they have the most apalling customer service, and product knowledge on the products they are service agents for, they had no idea that the Coleman HWOD had a 3 yr warranty.
Anyhow now I am happy, I have a new hot
water system which is happily charging up as I speak, thanks Rays and Coleman.
Regards

We have had a couple of problems with service agents repairing items, and have come to the conclusion that some manufacturers should have a serious look at the agents that are servicing their products.
But it never seems to happen.
Glad that you are now able to have a hot shower.
Cheers

Thanks for that Baz and Pud, yes I mentioned that to the Coleman rep in WA, if they are the best service agents they could find then the standard must be dreadfully low in WA, this mob have changed their name a few times, maybe to dodge litigation.
