so we've had this triton for a few weeks now and everything seems to be ok. except for that damn door chime. Does anyone know where it's located and if it can be disconnected? It drives me nuts.

Hi 'louie the fly'
I have just disconnected my key 'noise' on my Mazda BT50. It was frustrating as no doubt yours is.
Not able to listen to the radio while the door was open.
I suspect that the Triton maybe the same. I undid the plastic cover under the steering column and exposed the key area. There was a little white plug into the key barrel. I removed that and no more damn noise. I just did the same this morning for a fellow BT 50 owner.
Maybe that might give you an area to check, if it is the key/door alarm.
Cheers
DW

Thanks for that. It's the second most annoying thing I've ever had to listen to.
