recently purchased this book it has a lot of what i have read in other books but it has it all in one place. a bit pricey but it saves buying 4 books to cover the same information

I am going to order one on that recommendation. I have read another of Doug Stone's books.

I have the 4 DVD's "Nugget hunting secrets" by Jack Lange, and found them excellent also.

For WA I think the Best Gold Books are "Gold and Ghosts" books 1 and 2 though they will set you back around $400 each secondhand, new umpteen years ago they were worth around $50.

For Qld his 2 books second hand are around $500 each, probably not as good value as the WA books because its harder to get onto the properties in Qld compared to WA. The higher price is probably because few were sold new.

Also have some of Doug Stones books.
