is there a Car Charger available that can convert into a standart 3 point 240V plug for charing a digital camera, or using an appiance. i have looked on the net and found nothing?

Hmmm. An inverter will convert 12Volts DC to 240 Volts AC so you can recharge appliances. Have a look at Example of Jaycar InverterYou can search their site on inverter and search this
