Hello All, I have some Prado Rims (16x7) and was looking at throwing them on the 60series and going to a 16" tyre rather than 15". Then putting some 255 x 85 x 16 rubber on them. I run 33" rubber on the 15" rims now.
I was under the impression that the Prado rims would not fit but looking at members rigs I see Davcro has a 60series with what looks alot like Prado rims on it.
Am I still right that the offsets will be wrong?

Regards

Mark

Gday They wont fit straight on, but a wheel spacer behind the wheel will space it out enough.
I ran that combo with ROH white sunnies in 16x7. Still have some of the rims and tyres on the trailer :-)
Tall trailer... They were excellent for the bush, like a 33 cheese slice

Thanks for the reply's, I don't know that the spacers are legal on road so it may be back to the drawing board ie sell the Prado Rims.

Can't fit them. The Prado has 118mm backspacing, while the 60 series splits have about 65mm backspacing. Means the Prado rims will sit too far inboard and I'd expect them to foul. It is also illegal.

Sell the Prado rims (they are in big demand at present for 80,90 and 120 series + trailers) and buy some aftermarket rims with the correct offset.

Thanks Phil, I have them advertised in the trader section and have received an enquiry as to if they will fit on a '99 jackaroo. I suspect that they will but don't want to give the wrong info. Will they fit the jack?

Mark,

I suspect that they will too, but can't be 100% certain without physically doing it. The stud pattern is identical, the backspacing I believe is identical; I'm guessing that the centre hole is the same.

They'd have to try them out.
