just wondering if anyone uses eva-cool fridges
not the big fibreglass ones .im talking about the ones that look like a waeco.
its time to buy a new fridge and looking at them all toaday at the
bendigo leisurefest(
camping show)
they seem to have all the goodies
danfoss compressor
12/240 volt power
low batt cut out
lid looked better than the waeco.
all digitall with a light
50litre with bag around $600.
are they cheap because there no good or are they just not aswell known
5 year warantee.im aware you have to get them serviced evry 2 years to keep your warantee
thanks and cheers

Yeah i'll second that Paul,
But i do have one complaint though, there to bloody cold and efficient....Now if you were to buy a fiberglass one which i have the RF-60, of course you need to look after it and how hard is that...Not one dent in over 4 years in the back of my Hilux...

you wont go wrong with an evaKool. Better insulation than many other brands. Sold internationally so have to be a good product.

Read the post again. I think what he is referring to are the "cheap" Chinese Waeco look alike knock offs that are being marketed by Evakool.
Check
this site. ¥ 5590 = about AU $88 direct from Chinese supplier.
Check their Manual and you will find the same model no. Indel b ycd40
Add a bit of freight and mark up and you arrive at an RRP of $684 for the
Evakool IB 40

Dobinsons
Suspension are getting into the leisure market with
camping accessories and that chinese fridge looks identical to the one Dobinsons are branding as their own.
